Fantasy is not everyone’s cup of tea, but considering the immense fan following of games like Skyrim and The Witcher, if you give someone a great fantasy story with a compelling plot everyone goes home happy. Set in a world where magic is real and mythical beast dot the skies, Dragon Prince will leave you awe-inspired!

Release date: “The Dragon Prince Season 4”

The first season of “The Dragon Prince” made waves as it premiered on Netflix in September 2018. It betokened a sequel season, which followed suit by airing in February, the next year; this season too was received with massive acclaim and a third season came out in November, the same year, it was received with open arms as fans and critics alike were drawn to the show for its humor (we love Callum’s quips) and adventure-heavy plot.

Unfortunately, the possibility of a season 4 remains to be seen as Aaron Ehasz has been accused of misogyny by employees embroiling the show in conflict. On June 13, it was reported that the voice cast of the show will be taking part in an online Comic-Con event and will be answering fan questions as a part of a panel. We expect to hear more details about Season 4 then.

The Comic-Con is set to air at some point in July, the exact date of the said event has not been confirmed. Going by the history of trailers and concept artwork releases at Comic-Cons, fans will finally be able to clear the obscurity surrounding Season 4.

Plot: “The Dragon Prince Season 4”

In a battle reminiscent of the fights in the Inheritance Cycle by Christopher Paolini, the humans and elves face off in an epic encounter finishing up a major plotline that the series was building up to since 2018. As the protagonists set out on an adventure visit worlds unseen before, it leads to a satisfying culmination tying up several ends in a huge set-piece. Season 3, however, ends in a cliffhanger with Aaravos metamorphosing into a new body for himself. This season also saw conspicuous contention between Zym and Viren, we expect Season 4 to follow up on that. If nothing else we will certainly see high quality from the show’s creators considering their track record (Justin Richmond worked with Naughty Dog in the past as Uncharted’s game director).

Storyline: “The Dragon Prince Series”

The story is based on a mythical land called Xadia where six rudimentary elements govern magic ie the Sky, the Ocean, the Earth, the Stars, the Moon, and the Sun. While the humans and elves initially lived in harmony, this fragile truce is impinged on when Viren, an evil sorcerer kills the king of the Dragons. He however fails to destroy the egg and this sets in turns events where our heroes band together to prevent a war from taking place.
